Born and raised in Fort Lee, New Jersey, Nick Pastore grew up surrounded by the traditions of construction and hard work. His family’s company—C. Raimondo & Sons, founded in 1923—instilled in him a deep respect for craftsmanship, reliability, and doing the job right the first time. Those early lessons set the foundation for everything he would build in the decades to come.

Following his family’s encouragement, Nick attended the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, graduating in 2000 with a degree in Marine Engineering. After spending several years shipping out and gaining real-world experience, he felt the pull back to the industry he always loved: site work, heavy equipment, and building the communities around him.

Nick founded Pastore Excavation Inc. on Cape Cod with one machine, an uncompromising work ethic, and a commitment to delivering superior results. Over the last 25+ years, the company has grown into a trusted, full-service excavation and site-work contractor known for professionalism, efficiency, and a hands-on approach from start to finish. Under Nick’s leadership, Pastore Excavation has expanded its capabilities into solid waste, recycling, land development, and complex commercial and residential projects across the Upper Cape.
